Chef Surinder Singh Tomar had a fascination with Indian sweets from a very early age. Heading the kitchen of famous establishments in India like the Haldirams restaurant chain and BIKANO, Chef Surinder moved to the United States and quickly became engulfed in the prestigious MOGHUL group of restaurants. His skill was so well appreciated that the owners decided to open MITHAAS in 2006, a restaurant solely dedicated to the cuisine Surinder has excelled in…traditional vegetarian North Indian, Rajasthani and Chaat, as well as delicious mithaai. From concept development to menu planning to head execution, Surinder helped MITHAAS grow into the icon it is today.
